Description

Keep looking through the past, and the future you will never find..

A small coursework piece, I'm doing a section on eyes and make-up. So to start with I did some egyptian eye make-up, I'll probably do a lot of eyes from music stars like Kiss, Boy George, Adam and the Ants, My Chemical Romance because they'd please me and my art teacher (although probably for different reasons) =P

Tools Used: 2B, 4B and 6B pencils, standard eraser, kneaded eraser, long grip eraser, Q tips and tissue for blending, standard cartridge paper.

Hello There Gingernutt! Was looking through your gallery and came upon this art piece! Have to say its beautifully drawen1 I love the fact that you placed a great amount of detail into the Iris, I love the fact that the lines, the detailing of the eye stands out immensely to the contrast of the of the highlights placed within the eye. I would love to see more of Fine lines, like the iris I would love to see the pupil have a stronger line segregating the two between the iris and the pupil, also the same with the shadow from the upper lid. Do you see the way the lines are crisp for the line near the tear dud I think the same would go great to see the realism stand out! I love the detail of the eye lashes, its one of the most hardest things to do!... Lastly but not least! I would love to see a darker shade around the eyes! But overall this is a beautiful piece! I love the picture you choose! Keep working at it and you'll be phenomenal! Your already great!
Not to mention you already do have a swell eye for detailing!
I did give you a three for originality dye to it being a copy of an image <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/> God Bless keep u the great work!
